Library
Levana operates a feminist resource library that includes literature ranging from fiction to biography and memoir to health information, and houses a media collection, magazine archives, and the Kingston Women’s Movement archives. We intend our library space to be an ever-expanding collection of resources and way to share knowledge. Everyone is welcome to visit our library and borrow resources, regardless of whether they are currently studying at Queen’s.
Our library is directed by membership contributions and requests. We are always expanding our library, and we want feedback from YOU about what we should carry on our shelves. Are there titles that should belong in a feminist resource library? Is there something you’d like to read without having to purchase it for your own bookcase? We’re also interested in expanding our zine collection — let us know what you’d like to see! Please leave requests for books and other resources in the comments or e-mail us at levanacentre@gmail.com
If you have a book or zine or other kind of resource that you’d like to contribute to our shelves, bring it by! Our bookcases love contributions!
